Hi Everyone,

Both DisneyWorld and Disneyland increased pricing this week.  Disney World went to dynamic pricing for their Genie+ and Lightning Lane which means prices will vary depending on demand for a particular date.   Disneyland increased their ticket prices.

Whenever we prepare for a trip abroad, we look at several factors for our proposed destination which include, among other things, the safety concerns for our proposed destination.  People traveling to the U.S. do the same thing.   A number of travelers planning trip to the U.S. have decided against coming here due to fears of gun violence and other safety concerns.  As travelers do research while planning a trip, news reports play a role in their willingness to travel to a particular destination.

The US Department of State has temporarily reopened their online passport renewal program.   This is temporary and no one knows how long it will last but if you have to renew your passport, it might be helpful.  In order to do so, go to the official website and follow the steps on the page to create and activate a MyTravelGov account.  It takes about 4 hours for that to be activated and then users will be able to find the option to renew their passports. Although this is a short window, all Americans are supposed to be able to renew online by next year.

According to a report by aviation specialist OAG this wee, Chicago O’Hare International Airport is now officially the world’s most connected airport. It offers the most links to other destinations, both domestic and abroad, as well as the largest passenger capacity.-TraveloffPath
